A theme update, an app you installed, a change to a template - any of them can quietly undo the things that let ChatGPT read your catalogue. Nothing tells you. The orders just stop arriving from a channel you could never see in the first place.

What a one-off scan cannot tell you
Shopify’s own readiness scanner and the free checkers on the App Store score a store once, today. None of them comes back tomorrow, none keeps the day a score moved, and none can say how a store compares to ten thousand others. Those three things are the whole of what the money buys; the scan itself is the same one you can run free on the front page.

Not ready to pay?
The scan itself is free and always will be, and so is a monthly re-check - scan your store and leave an email on the report. Paying changes the cadence from monthly to daily, and nothing else.
