Shelfglance

Which of your orders came from ChatGPT?

Shopify records the site that referred every order, but nothing in the admin separates AI assistants from ordinary referrals. So the honest answer most merchants have is a shrug. There are two halves to fixing that, and they are different questions.

1. Can assistants read your store?

An assistant only recommends what it can read. If your price and stock status are not in the HTML a crawler receives, you get skipped silently. This scan is free and needs no signup.

Free, no signup. Takes about ten seconds.

2. Are they actually sending you orders?

Being readable is not the same as being recommended. The Shelfglance Shopify app reads the referrer Shopify already stores against each order and tells you how many came from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini or Copilot, and what they were worth. It reads no customer names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.

What no one can tell you

Answers shown inside Google's AI Overviews reach your store as ordinary Google referrals. Nobody can separate those out, and any tool claiming to is guessing. We report what Shopify actually recorded, and say so where the data stops.
